DRAGON’S Den star Steven Bartlett is going all out to impress in his new office, by splashing out thousands of pounds to put in an enormous 22ft space rocket in his reception.
Insiders told me entrepreneur and host of the brilliant Diary Of A CEO podcast Steven wanted to shock and surprise his staff with the fixture, which will include a life-size astronaut that floats in mid-air.
Something tells me Elon Musk might be a bit jealous of this.
My mole said: “Steve, like so many successful entrepreneurs, is something of a maverick.
“He believes that all sorts of little things can make the difference in business. And, in his view, the rocket and astronaut will show the whole company is aiming for the stars.
“For Steve, it’s all about getting in the head of every individual member of the team – and so making the whole business more creative.

It’s certainly a novel way to stop people working from home.
Steven’s office isn’t the only thing he’s been keen to splash the cash on.
He drives around in a £150,000 Mercedes limo-van, which is more spacious than my flat, and boasts way better mod-cons – including two TVs, a fridge, a coffee machine, a desk and a bed.”
Steven said the motor was the “one of the best investments” he’d ever made and given he’s sitting on a fortune of £71million – there’s still plenty left in the bank.
